Do you close your eyes when you sing? Look at your guitar? Your pedals? Or have trouble staying close enough?Did you know that where you are in front of the mic affects what people hear?

The Mic Trainer microphone attachment helps to keep you in the right spot without having to put your lips on the mic. This can help you deal with the Proximity Effect, plosives and the Inverse Square Law. Simply put, you'll sound better and probably come in contact with fewer germs!

Stop eating the mic!

-------

Mic Trainer is an adjustable microphone attachment that keeps performers at a consistent distance and angle to the mic. It's the easiest way to improve your mic technique and stop eating the mic!

Fits MOST dynamic cardioid mics. Designed specifically for the Shure SM58 style mic. Fits Sennheiser e935 and e945 well. Doesn't fit the AKG P5i very well.

INSTRUCTIONS: To use the microphone attachment, the “UP” printed on the silicone strap that guides arm connection should point "UP" toward the wind screen. The ridge on the guide arm corresponds with the attachment point to prevent it from rotating. Fully assembled, the arm should be below the microphone and rest between your lower lip and your chin.

I love the Mic Trainer!!

Using the mic trainer makes singing with a consistent volume much easier and it provides a nice sense of grounding for me as I’m performing. It makes the sound quality of my voice better too, AND it holds my guitar pick right where I need it!

All singers and speakers should try this

This is a super cheap and great tool you should try out to improve your mic technique. It’s discrete and keeps you out of the mud!

So cool

Used it in my latest gig at the bar and my distance control with the mic made a huge difference. Much more clarity in my vocals and when I was looking down at my pedals I knew exactly where the mic was still so I didn’t need to bite it!

I tend to sing with my eyes closed my hands are on my guitar so a boom stand is needed .. this really helps! Thanks

Super cool!

Awesome idea, very practical. Great for new singers (and experienced ones with a habit of "eating the mic")
